Major Accounts Executive, Enterprise Sales

Job Description:

A Major Accounts Executive is responsible for securing, growing and managing sales and business relationships in both new and existing major or larger accounts through the development and execution of a comprehensive account capture and retention strategy. The Major Accounts Executive also serves as the primary facilitator between the customer and all BAIS operational departments and groups to ensure total customer satisfaction throughout execution of the service contract. Other duties and responsibilities include:

  • Aggressively prospect and close large hosting and high-speed access opportunities
  • Work with potential customers and BayArea.net Engineering to develop, propose, and sell the appropriate BayArea.net solution, meeting the exact needs of the customer and utilizing BayArea.net developed and approved proposal and quote tools.
  • Understand and effectively communicate BayArea.net offerings and terms and conditions of service to customers and prospects.
  • Create, maintain, and provide effective, accurate, and timely sales forecasts and funnel information.
  • Work with other individuals and departments within BayArea.net in a team-oriented fashion, supporting a unified approach to delivering customer solutions.
  • Individual lead qualifying, cold calling, prospecting, account planning, account management, and sales forecasting.
  • Assist other account executives in team sales cycle processes and respond to customer/prospect requests for information and/or services. 

Job Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Internet technologies strongly desired.
  • 3 - 6 years of Internet-related sales experience desired.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Experience in account management and relationship building is key. 
  • Knowledge of data communications and Internet industry and technologies is also key.

Outside Sales Agent, Enterprise Sales

Position: Sales Agent, Outside Sales

Job Description:

  • Responsible for increasing new business and client base. The product offering to be sold will include collocation space, high-speed leased line access solutions, shared and dedicated hosting, Internet Data Center managed services, and related professional services.

  • This position requires demonstrated sales success in the Internet, telecommunication, or related industries. Must be a self-starter, highly motivated, and skilled in all forms of prospecting in small, medium, and large corporate environments.

  • Understand and effectively communicate BayArea.net offerings and terms and conditions of service to customers and prospects.
  • Create, maintain, and provide effective, accurate, and timely sales forecasts, as required by BayArea.net Sales Management.
  • Work with other individuals and departments within BayArea.net in a team-oriented fashion, supporting a unified approach to delivering customer solutions.
  • Lead qualifying, cold calling, prospecting, account planning, account management, and sales forecasting.
  • Mentor junior account executives by assisting in sales cycle process and responding to customer requests for information and/or services. 

Job Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Internet technologies strongly desired.
  • 3 - 5 years of related sales experience.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Extensive experience in account management and relationship building. 
  • Knowledge of data communications and Internet industry and technologies is very key.
  • Proven track record of sales success in the data communication and co-location arenas.
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team player to achieve aggressive sales revenue objectives.
  • Ability to aggressively pursue new customers using new an innovating sales techniques.
  • A competitive, results-oriented attitude with strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
  • Confident and highly skilled individual willing to be compensated based on commission-only and sales goal achievement.

Account Executive, Enterprise Sales

  • Assist senior account executives by assisting in sales cycle process and responding to customer requests for information and/or services. Assist with quotes, phone calls, and meetings to become familiar with higher-end sale cycles and closings.

Job Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Internet technologies strongly desired.
  • 1 - 3 years of sales experience.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Experience in account management and relationship building is key. 
  • Knowledge of data communications and Internet industry and technologies is very key.
