cabinets are available in three different sizes: 1/3, 1/2, and full rack
configurations. Our 1/3 and 1/2 cabinet offerings are provided with a
square-hole rail design only. Full racks are available in both
square-hole and round-hole rails. Our round-hole cabinets provide 72"
(41U) of rack space and our square-holed cabinets provide 77" (44U)
of rack space.

Don't have the desire
or resources to support your own co-located equipment? Ship your
equipment to us. We'll install it, set it up, and manage as much of the
infrastructure or applications as you want us to. Over 30% of our
customers are located in far-off cities and countries around the world.
We keep their hosting infrastructure running at peak performance and
efficiency--24x7x365.
Managed co-location is
basically utilizing our standard co-location services described above
but utilizing our staff of network and systems engineers to managed and
maintain your equipment. This reduces overall costs and you don't have
to employ a staff of remote personnel responsible for managing your
infrastructure. We'll respond to all issues: hardware, software,
upgrades, patches, security issues, and related infrastructure
management and maintenance tasks. These services can be performed as
needed or on a discounted contract basis.

Data Center Space
Co-location
space in available in custom footprints to support outsourced data
center projects that have a need for larger square footage footprints

new co-location facility is located in Santa Clara, California between
Central Expressway and Walsh Avenue less than a mile south of Highway 101. Right in the heart of Silicon
Valley, less than two miles from San Jose International airport and very
close to area mass transit services.

Access
Our new facility is accessible
by co-location customers 24x7x365 using secure card-key access and
digital video
surveillance monitoring. Parking issues are non-existent due to an
extremely large capacity courtesy parking areas
surrounding the facility's main and rear co-location entrances--No hassling with fees or finding
a place to park your vehicle.
Facility
With the opening of our Santa Clara
facility, BAIS is now able to offer our customers over 11,500 square
feet of IDC space for co-location, shared and managed hosting, and
high-speed Internet access services supported by a Class-A facility.
This new 24,000 square foot facility provides reliability/availability
features and capabilities second to none. The following are just a few
of the major features and benefits that this facility will provide our
current and future customers:

The new facility was designed as a fault
tolerant, N+1 IDC, which enables us to dramatically increase our ability
to provide highly-available, high-performance, mission-critical Internet
hosting and access solutions to our customers. BAIS continues to enhance
its position as a leader in the high-speed access, co-location, and
managed services markets by combining world-class IDC capabilities with
our growing portfolio of managed and professional services.
Connectivity
Our hosting and co-location solutions provide very high-speed and
high-bandwidth connectivity to the global Internet network. We maintain
rigorously engineered, high-availability Network Access Points (NAP)
throughout the Bay Area. Our main facility currently houses multiple
OC48 (2.45 Gbps) fiber links to multiple carriers. These OC48 links
provide exceptional scalability, reliability, and redundancy. This core
connectivity infrastructure enables us to maintain and quickly scale
multiple high-speed and redundant fiber links to major Tier 1 Internet
backbones, enabling us to deliver the finest Internet bandwidth quality
available.
Bandwidth
Exceptional bandwidth quality has always been a BAIS core
strength. A key factor that enables us to deliver such outstanding
bandwidth is a core strategy of purchasing only
"clear-channel" private Internet connectivity. Unlike many of
