ISDN Access

If your needs call for faster and more reliable access than standard 56Kbps dialup, Bay Area Internet Solutions offers Basic, Premium, Gold,  Platinum and Unlimited  ISDN Internet connectivity throughout Northern and Southern California. ISDN is a digital network service capable of delivering up to 128Kbps of throughput, which dramatically improves your Internet connectivity compared to standard analog lines.

To make sure that your ISDN connectivity is of the highest quality, Bay Area Internet Solutions uses the latest state-of-the-art products from Ascend Communications.

To help you reduce the cost of your ISDN access or if you require standard analog modem, all of our ISDN connections also include a 56Kbps V.90 dial-up connection.

The BAIS Difference:

j0115834.gif (185 bytes) Support
As a BayArea.net customer, you'll expect service that can be relied on for mission critical applications and key business operations. And, you'll expect skilled and knowledgeable technical support. You can count on us to be extremely responsive, courteous, and proactive in providing exceptional service and support.

j0115834.gif (185 bytes) Performance
At BayArea.net, we understand that the absolute performance of your connection is directly affected by the
quality and speed of our network. Instead of utilizing the congested and faulty public peering points, as many providers do, we maintain multiple direct fiber connected access points to "Tier 1" backbone providers. This is a very important differentiation between BayArea.net and low-priced consumer-oriented providers.

j0115834.gif (185 bytes) Connectivity
Our access solutions provide fast and reliable connectivity to the global Internet network. We maintain rigorously engineered, high-availability Network Access Points (NAPs) throughout northern and southern California.

j0115834.gif (185 bytes) Bandwidth
Exceptional bandwidth quality has always been a BayArea.net core strength. A key factor that enables us to deliver such outstanding bandwidth is a core strategy of purchasing only "clear-channel" private Internet connectivity. Unlike many of our competitors, who rely heavily on public network access points and congested public and private peering points.

j0115834.gif (185 bytes) Exceptional Diversity
In addition to multiple connections to the major Tier 1 Internet backbones like Level 3 and Williams Communications, BayArea.net also maintains fiber connectivity to InterNAP. InterNAP is a leading provider of fast, reliable and centrally managed Internet connectivity services targeted at businesses seeking to maximize the performance of mission-critical Internet-based applications.

 Availability
BayArea.net's access services provide a non-stop Internet access infrastructure utilizing both 480V UPS subsystems and a fully automated fail-over to diesel-generator backup power.

For your email needs, our ISDN access solutions allow you to retrieve your E-mail using either POP3 or IMAP protocols. Outlook, Netscape, Eudora and PINE are examples of some of the many existing programs you can use to retrieve and manage email messages using  POP3 and IMAP protocols. For our the Platinum account users, we also provide SMTP mail services.

A risk-free, 7-day, money-back guarantee lets you try our ISDN services and if you are not 100 percent satisfied within the first seven days, we will refund the charges with no fuss or hassle.

A no-busy-signal policy ensures that you receive the highest network availability possible. By continually monitoring our user-to-modem ratio, we ensure that our network capacity meets customer demand. To ensure that we are doing our part to ensure the highest level of service quality and availability, we encourage you to contact us, should you ever experience a busy signal or interruption in service.

If your needs require email confidentiality among your family members, friends, or business associates, separate email POP3 accounts can be established for a nominal setup fee of $5.00 with a monthly fee of $2.00 per account.

To establish a BayArea.net ISDN  connection, a ISDN modem and browser software of your choice must be installed on your computer. To avoid telephone toll charges, please determine which local access number is best for your location.
