2002 – While others bemoan the depression-like slump in the high
technology sector, one ambitious organization is seizing what it sees as
a unique opportunity to acquire facilities and expand its
infrastructure, while capturing market share from fallen or wobbling

Bay Area Internet Solutions, a profitable
and well-established hosting and access provider since 1995, is raising
capital, moving in to a newly acquired installation nearby its present
San Jose headquarters, and aggressively signing on new enterprise and
professional customers for its co-location, high-speed dedicated access,
and managed services solutions.
The new facility, located at 2650 San
Tomas Expressway in Santa Clara, was formerly occupied by Exodus
Communications and was acquired at a fraction of the price it cost to
build the facility. The recently upgraded Internet Data Center (IDC) has
over 11,000 square feet of premium raised-floor co-location space,
complete with highly available parallel power and superior Internet
connectivity infrastructure. This new facility substantially improves
Bay Area Internet Solutions’ capabilities and allows the Company to
aggressively price its services to both new and existing customers.
