California Marketplace
Santa Clara, Calif. – October 1, 2002
– Bay Area Internet Solutions has teamed with Internap
Network Services Corporation (NASDAQ: INAP), a leading provider of
high-speed Internet access solutions using intelligent routing
technology, in a reseller relationship. This relationship maintains the
ISP’s carrier-neutral approach to co-location while allowing Bay Area
Internet Solutions to resell bundled leased line access solutions to its
customers in locations where it does not have its own
points-of-presence.
A side benefit to the partnership will
enable Bay Area Internet Solutions’ co-location customers to purchase
bandwidth directly from Internap using Internap’s presence in Bay Area
Internet’s recently opened Internet Data Center (IDC) in Santa Clara,
California. The program allows Bay Area Internet Solutions to resell
Internap connectivity products, including T1 and DS3, in markets beyond
the Bay Area and where Internap has a strong presence, including
Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Tokyo,
and Washington, DC.

recent acquisition of a 24,000 square foot Class-A Internet

choice to purchase connectivity and bandwidth not just from us, but also
from Internap directly. This new relationship with Internap will allow
us to maximize our facility capabilities and extend greater value to our
customers."
