BAIS has completed the expansion of its datacenter facility with an additional 6 megawatts of power, which now has 10 Megawatts of critical backup power capacity served by two 9 MW 12KV feeders from Santa Clara Valley Power. A press release was submitted and we were featured by The Whir:

BAIS Achieves SAS70 Type II Compliance
We have completed our SAS70 type II audit. So, what does it mean?
Phase II expansion of datacenter almost complete
The expansion of our datacenter facility is almost complete.We have added 2x700 tons chillers, 18 x300kva PDUs, 7 UPSs, 24 RPCs, 18 STSs, 11 CRAC units and 3x2meg watts generators. As you may have noticed, the expansion area is fenced off and being populated with high density server racks.
BAIS received the SVP Energy Innovator Award at the Silicon Valley Energy Summit at Stanford University
Last Friday, June 25, our CEO, Tom Wye, accepted the prestigeous Energy Innovator Award presented by Santa Clara Mayor, Patricia M. Mahan. The energy innovator awards were given out at the Silicon Valley Energy Summit which was held at Stanford University this year. BAIS has been awarded the Silicon Valley Power (SVP) Energy Efficiency Partner Award
Our datacenter facility at 2050 Martin Ave has been constructed with environmentally friendly products and systems by utilizing the newest energy efficient technology and architectural design methodologies. These efforts not only enabled us to receive the maximum rebate from SVP, they also chose us to receive one of their prestigious Innovation Awards. Here is the info:
Tom Wye, our CEO was a speaker at the Emerson Datacenter User Group (DCUG)
Tom was invited to present at the Emerson DCUG last month in Chicago. He talked about "Building an Efficient High-Availability Data Center".
Now he has been invited to participate in a panel discussion at the next Datacenter Dynamics conference in San Francisco.
