The Need for Speed
BAIS offers exceptional bandwidth options directly through major Tier1 providers. Customers can choose between 100Mbps or 1000Mbps (GigE)  VLAN connectivity in order to accommodate their burstable bandwidth requirements. Native IPv6 and IP Multicast are offered with all connections.BAIS bills monthly for committed bandwidth. For bandwidth usage above the committed amount, BAIS uses the 95th percentile measurement rule to calculate the additional bandwidth. Additional bandwidth usage are charged in increments of 100Kbits.

Extend the Reach of your Connectivity
Cross-connects enable customer’s IT environment to connect to other customers, vendors, or any other facility. In addition, fiber cross-connects allow customers to connect two or more of their Co-Lo racks together for high bandwidth data transfer that cannot be accomplished over copper cross-connects due to distance or bandwidth limitation.
BAIS will support these media types at the Co-Location side :
  • Telco POTS (Phone line), DSL, ISDN
  • Telco T1
  • Telco DS3 (COAX)
  • Telco OCx
  • Ethernet (10baseT, 100baseT, FX, GigE, MM, SM)
  • 62.5/125um single or multimode fiber
  • SC terminating connectors

High Density Power
BAIS' Cold Aisle Containment Cabinets are prewired  to 3 separate 110 volt power source units, capable of high density power configuration. Secure Cabinet customers can purchase additional power in increments of 20 Amps.
BAIS also offers custom AC Circuit options of:
30Amps, 120 & 208 volts, Phase 1, 2 and 3
PLEASE NOTE:
To conform to electrical code for peak power use, maximum power usage is limited to 80% of circuit value (i.e. 16 Amps for a 20 Amp circuit).

Remote & Smart Hands
All our co-location solutions include our smart Remote Hands I services. Customers may also sign up for BAIS' Remote Hands II services for enhanced functionality and troubleshooting service.

Co-location IP Address Options
Native IPv6 and IP Multicast are offered with all connections. IP addresses are offered in increments of 2x from 4 up to 256.
Please note: Three (3) IP's are used for subnet, broadcast, and default gateway. The amount remaining is the number of customer usable IP's.
Example: If customer purchases 8 IP addresses, they will be able to use 5 for their own purposes.
BAIS IP setup charges will be waived if an option is selected at initial install
