Backup/Restore services help you protect your data in the event your hard disk fails or files are accidentally erased due to hardware or storage media failure. BAIS provides various media solutions for your backup needs. The backup media can either be stored locally or remotely.

If the original data on your hard disk is accidentally erased or overwritten, or becomes inaccessible because of a hard-disk malfunction, you can easily restore it from the disk or archived copy by using our Restore Service.

Either you want to backup your data from your location, or have a co-located system within our IDC, we have the perfect backup solution for you. If you want to perform your own backup/restore, check out our new DRbackups service with a free trial period.

Unix Backup Solutions BAIS offers a comprehensive backup service for Unix-based managed, dedicated, or co-located server or server farms within our IDC. customer data will be backed up online to a network attached disk storage system for easy, reliable and fast restore capability. Please download datasheet.		Windows Backup Solutions BAIS offers a set of flexible Windows backup solutions with our DRbackups product line. Customers can choose to perform their own backup or have BAIS personnel manage their backup services.

Disk Ghosting Disk Ghosting is a comprehensive service for OS deployment, software distribution, backup, and disaster recovery. It allows for fast restore/recovery service for supporting compressed disk image copying of Windows-based managed or dedicated servers hosted within BAIS IDC. Customers can deploy or restore an OS image or application onto an existing or newly deployed server quickly and easily. This service is currently only supported in a Windows OS environment.

Restore Services
Offsite Data Storage

With all our managed backup solutions we also offer a comprehensive and cost-effective Restore option. This service is designed to quickly restore or redeploy customer data from a Managed Backup service. Customers can restore a backup image, partition, application, or individual data files onto an existing or newly deployed server quickly and easily.

You can increase the level of data protection provided by our managed backup and restore services by using offsite data storage services from Iron Mountain. Duplicate copies of backup tapes are transferred daily to a security-rich offsite storage facility. Should recovery be impossible using onsite backup media, quick access to these vaulted copies can help limit business disruptions.
