Our unique monitoring architecture allows us to monitor any IT infrastructure remotely (customer premises) or hosted within our Datacenters. Flexible Monitoring Services:
BAIS monitoring services are designed to provide notification and correction capability. A set of pre-defined corrective actions can be put in place to remedy trouble situations, when thresholds are met or alarms are triggered. All failures and alarms are immediately propagated to customers via email, pager, SMS, or phone as defined by the customer. Customers may choose to fix the problem themselves or have BAIS trained professional staff take care of the situation. A set of flexible service level agreements are available to meet our customer's current needs.
MonAlert: Detect
MonAlert monitors the subscribed level of services to see if the components are up and reachable. If a failure occurs, "component not reachable", an alert is generated and the customer is notified via our email notification service. Alerts are set at default threshold values when activated. Customers have the option of viewing their system status via a customized dashboard. This basic monitoring service allows customers to take immediate corrective action upon a failure.
MonPro: Detect -> Inspect
In addition to MonAlert services, MonPro provides the capability to proactively monitor the subscribed levels of services to see if threshold conditions are met. Customized threshold values can be set for any monitored resource.
This is an early warning notification and troubleshooting service, which allows customers to see if failures are imminent. In addition, BAIS expert monitoring team will provide incident review and analysis of events before notifying the customer.Customers will be contacted only if an abnormal condition is encountered. Charts and reports are generated for all set conditions. Historical data and event logs are available to customers.
MonExec: Detect -> Inspect -> Correct
In addition to MonPro services, MonExec monitors and manages the health and performance of the entire system in real time. This is a comprehensive service. BAIS Monitoring Control Staff will manage all alerts by analyzing the problem history. They will take corrective action when appropriate and review event history and analyze trouble spots and provide solution recommendations in order to avoid future failures.
MonExec services can also be used for proactive performance monitoring and capacity planning purposes. It provides historical performance graphs of selected services. Short and long term performance reports can be generated to help analyze and fix trouble spots and degradation problems.
MonExec services are ideal for customers, who need continuous monitoring and management of their mission-critical resources by trained personnel without their intervention.
NOC Consolidated Monitoring Center:
BAIS monitoring solutions are fully integrated with our Network Operation Center (NOC), thus providing a centralized and highly secure management capability of all hosted and remote infrastructures. By choosing BAIS monitoring solutions customers will take advantage of our N+1 fully redundant datacenter for a continuous 24/7 monitoring capability. In addition, BAIS expert monitoring staff are available to assist with additional support in resolving and managing alerts, suspicious conditions, analysis and planning efforts.
Distributed Architecture - Centralized Management:
The BAIS fully distributed monitoring architecture is designed to enable efficient monitoring solutions. Our Monitoring Management Platform (MMP) enables centralized monitoring capability by collecting data through its distributed 'collection points' (HUBs). At the device level our solution uses light-weight software 'Probes', installed locally on servers. This distributed architecture provides an extremely high level of management functionality while imposing little to no stress on the monitored devices themselves. This 'onboard' monitoring also allows the device to be monitored even when it becomes temporarily disconnected from the rest of the MMP in the case of a disruption in network connectivity.
Complete Monitoring Capability:
For business productivity measurement BAIS monitoring services can also simulate complex end-user transactions and collect the true end-to-end response time of those transactions and applications. In addition, our solution possesses the ability to communicate with network devices via SNMP for performance reporting as well as the ability to receive and process SNMP traps from these devices.
